What you are buying
A paid place in a public feed, delivered the moment the payment settles. Nothing here is a subscription to read: reading, liking, following and searching are free, and an account can reply for free.
- Posts
- $1, or $3 with a picture. A reply is free with an account and $1 for a guest.
- Boosts
- From $1, charged on top of the post. From $2 a boost is eligible for The Board, which holds three places. A boost is worth half as much every 24 hours and stops counting after 7 days. Paying more than somebody else does not guarantee a place, and a place already held can be taken from you by anyone who pays more.
- Credits
- A dollar buys 2. Credits are spent on posts and boosts, do not expire, and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Pro
- $14.99 a month, renewing until cancelled, or 15 credits for 30 days, which does not renew. Posts and pictures are included. Boosts are not: a subscription cannot buy a scarce place.
Prices can change. A change applies to what you buy after it, never to something already paid for.
Payment
Cards are handled by Dodo Payments, who are the merchant of record and will be the name on your statement. QRIS payments are handled by Midtrans. Your words are saved before any money moves, and the post is published only once the payment settles, so a declined card costs you nothing.
Refunds
Posts, boosts and credits are final, because what they buy is delivered immediately. Deleting a post does not refund it, on Pro or off it: otherwise posting and deleting would be a way to post for nothing.
Three exceptions, and you do not have to argue for them:
- You were charged twice for one thing. The duplicate is refunded.
- You were charged and nothing was published. If a payment settled and the post never went live, that is our failure and the charge is refunded.
- Somebody used your card without permission. Tell us and the charge is refunded, whatever it bought.
Pro can be cancelled at any time and runs to the end of the period already paid for. The period itself is not refunded part-way. Ask at [email protected] and expect an answer within a few days; refunds go back to the card that paid.
What you may not post
Paying for a post does not buy the right to publish anything. The price keeps out noise; it does not license the list below. This is a public feed with no age gate and no interstitial, so anything here can land in front of anybody.
- Sexual content
- No pornography, no nudity for sexual purposes, no sexual services offered or advertised. That is a flat rule rather than a judgement call, partly because a public feed has nowhere to put it and partly because the card networks and the payment provider that make this site possible do not permit it. Sexual content involving a minor is forbidden absolutely, in any form, drawn or photographed or written. So is intimate imagery of anybody published without their consent, including anything synthesised to look like them.
- Terrorism and violent extremism
- No promoting, glorifying or claiming an act of terrorism, and nothing that recruits for, raises money for, or represents a terrorist or violent extremist organisation. No instructions for weapons or attacks. No threats of violence against a person or a place, and no calling for violence against anyone.
- Hate
- No attacks on people for their religion, ethnicity, race, nationality, disability, gender or sexual orientation, and nothing that denies or celebrates an atrocity against them.
- Harm to people
- No harassment or pile-ons. No publishing somebody's private details to expose or endanger them. No encouraging suicide, self-harm or disordered eating. No gore or violent imagery posted for shock. No cruelty to animals.
- Illegal goods and services
- No drugs, weapons, stolen data or credentials, counterfeit goods, or online gambling, which is a criminal matter in Indonesia. Nothing else unlawful under Indonesian law, and nothing that would breach international sanctions.
- Fraud and deception
- No scams, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, fake giveaways, or coordinated promotion of an asset you intend to sell into. No malware or phishing. No impersonating a person or an organisation, which includes passing a guest post off as somebody else.
- Other people's work
- No infringing somebody's copyright or trademark. You keep the rights to what you write, and you give us permission to store it and show it on the site, which is what publishing here means.
- The site itself
- No automated posting, no attempts to break the pricing or the payment flow, no using the link preview to make our server fetch addresses on your behalf, and no flooding the feed with the same post.
Moderation
Anything can be reported from the menu on a post, with or without an account, under one of: illegal content, sexual content, violence or gore, harassment or threats, copyright infringement, spam, or something else. A moderator can take down a post and delete any picture attached to it. An account used for what is listed above can be suspended, and a guest can be refused.
A takedown does not come with a refund. The money paid for a post that broke these terms is not returned. Paying more does not buy more leeway either: a boosted post and a Board place are held to exactly the same rules, and a place taken by a post that is removed is simply vacated.
Sexual content involving a minor is handled differently from everything else. It is removed, the account is terminated, and it is reported to the Indonesian authorities with whatever we hold that identifies whoever posted it.
If you think a post of yours was removed wrongly, write to [email protected] and say so. Somebody will read it.
Guests
A guest post is pseudonymous to other readers and never anonymous to us: an email is required to take a card, and it is what connects a charge to a post. Signing in later with the same address claims those posts.
The service itself
This is a small service run by one person. It is provided as it is, without a promise that it will be available at any particular moment or that it will exist forever. What we do promise: if it is going to close, there will be notice and a way to take your posts with you, and anybody holding credits will be told before they stop being spendable.
Nothing here limits rights you have under Indonesian consumer law, or the protections your card network gives you. Where those disagree with this page, they win.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Indonesian law applies.
